The unbreakable succulent leaf

When I found this leaf somewhere on the ground in Venice on 7th May 2017, it didn't look healthy at all. Shortly thereafter, it seemed to rot, but it miraculously managed to develop a baby succulent. I'm more than astonished at its fast development and happy to have one more succulent.

When one leaf ends up with three baby plants

When my friend and I collected two leaves of a succulent plant in Malta, we didn't know that one of them would rot and the other one would form three tiny baby succulents. The latter outcome was a surprise indeed. Until that moment, I had only seen plants developing on the other side of the leaf (where it had been attached to the origin plant) and was expecting exactly the same thing to happen.
